Since launching, Heta has made reducing our environmental impact a core objective through our Green Pledge. As part of our parent company, Heta are certified to ISO 14001 (Environmental Management Systems) proving our commitment to an environmentally sustainable future.
We are always looking for ways to minimise our impact on the environment, setting annual environmental goals as part of a wider business commitment and have a training and development plan for all staff to ensure that the whole business is inducted into, and invested in, our core environmental values.
Heta believes in producing products that are built to last and encourage our customers and end users to recycle our gloves at the end of their useful life. Currently we are part of a scheme that sees our gloves recycled and repurposed back into materials such as insulation and are also working to migrate our glove and packaging raw materials to sustainable, recycled, and recyclable alternatives, with our goal to transition to a Closed Loop System which will see our gloves recycled back into new gloves.

Heta, through our parent company, utilise organisations such as the Ethical Trading Initiative, the Fair Labor Association, Social Accountability International and Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production (WRAP) to ensure we are following best practice when it comes to concerns over Humans Rights, Labour Standards and Modern Slavery.
